Prue was the eldest of the Halliwell sisters until her death in 2001 following a fight with Shax. Her death hit her sisters hard but the discovery of their half-sister Paige meant that the Power of Three could continue. Following the sisters' triumph during the Ultimate Battle, as a reward for everything they accomplished Prue was returned as a Whitelighter so as not to disrupt the Power of Three alongside her true love Andy. While Prue no longer has her witch powers, enough remained that could be passed on to her children. Prue is now juggling working as a full time Whitelighter and spending time with her family.

Things were amicable between the two of them after they divorced and she decided to keep the baby, only to find out shortly thereafter that she was in fact expecting twins. Jessica was the first to be born followed by her brother Cody. When the twins were nine years old Susan died and Andy, having found out about their existence after he was brought back to life, enlisted the help of the Halliwell sisters to ensure that the children could remain with him and they were also adopted by Prue.

Pascal is the eldest biological child of Prue and Andy. His parents explained what had happened to him a long time ago and since they he has struggled to get his head around the fact that if not for a twist of fate then he, his brother and his sisters would never have been born. He decided to go to college in New York but after finding out that his girlfriend had cheated on him by kissing another guy, he moved back to San Francisco and transferred to the State University so he could finish his education and be closer to his family. They have always meant the world to Pascal, not just his parents and siblings but his cousins, aunts and uncles as well and he will do whatever he has to in order to keep them safe.

Holly is the second biological child of Prue and Andy and she has always been close to all four of her siblings but especially Aria and Pascal who are closest in age to her. She has now graduated from Magic School and started to attend the State University. Like the rest of the family the instinct to protect people, both innocents and her family and friends has been there ever since she was little.

Aria is the third biological child of Prue and Andy. Like Pascal, Holly and Bowan, she doesn't care that Jessica and Cody are only their half-siblings and are mortal as she loves them the same regardless. She likes knowing that her brothers are always there to look out for her even when she sometimes wishes that they would leave her to her own devices and she likes the escape that attending Magic School currently gives her. Family is important to Aria and she will do whatever she has to in order to protect those closest to her.

Bowan is the youngest child of Prue and Andy. His birth wasn't planned given that his parents already had five children to look after but upon learning that Prue was pregnant once again they were thrilled. Bowan doesn't always like how protective all of his siblings are of him and he sometimes feels like he is living in the shadow of his older siblings and cousins but he is doing his best to figure out who he really is. Bowan is close to Charlotte, Joy, Elly and Allen.
