Archer, as he prefers to called, has been a Whitelighter since his death on Halloween in 1918. He had been ready to ship back out to help the war effort and died in a hit and run accident when he stopped to help someone. He took Pascal Trudeau under his wing when he moved to New York and gave him a place to stay, the two became best friends. When Pascal suddenly left without a word and moved back to San Francisco, Archer followed Pascal after he was told that Prue’s family were his new charges. Archer is the love interest for Pandora Halliwell.

Isabella grew up in a family that wasn't rich but for the time they lived in, they were comfortable. Even though she was not an only child, her parents gave their children everything they could wish for, making sure that they remained oblivious to the harsh reality of the world outside their front door. In the area where Isabella grew up, crime was at an all time high and her parents wished to spare their children from that. By the time Isabella was sixteen years old she was arranged to be married to a man who would be able to take care of her and give her the kind of life her parents had always wanted for her but in doing so she was forced to leave her family behind. With him she had three children before being struck down by a virus when she was only twenty two years old. Throughout her life Isabella always had a good heart, putting others before herself and helping those around her when they were in need so it did not take the Elders long to make her a Whitelighter and she has been helping protect Witches and Future Whitelighters ever since while still secretly checking in on her family now and then. She is the love interest for Wyatt Halliwell.

Jason is the older of the two Collins brothers but even though there has always been a slight age difference between the two, they have always been close. Their father moved around a lot with work while they were growing up and their mother died when both were only young so their upbringing was a little disjointed but neither of them really minded. Their father was killed when Jason was fifteen years old and after that he was left to look after his younger brother. There was no one who could take the two of them in so they were left to fend for themselves. Jason had already taken care of his younger brother while their father worked so it wasn't much of a change for the two of them. He and Tommy both died while trying to protect a family that was being attacked by a demon and have been Whitelighters ever since.

She was forbidden from seeing her family again, knowing that the consequences would be disastrous, and it was with a heavy heart that she left them, taking on many different charges before finally being assigned to watch over Billie's family.

Darryl Jr is the youngest son of Darryl Morris the detective and family friend to the Halliwell clan. Darryl's family moved to the East Coast when he was only young so that his father could get away from magic once and for all following his brush with death but after patching things up with the Halliwells and realising that San Francisco would always be their home, the Morris family returned to the city. Following in his father's footsteps Darryl Jr joined the San Francisco PD as soon as he was old enough. He has always been a cop at heart and now is one of the streets. Partnered with Tristan Devereux a few months ago, he tends to get the 'freaky' cases that his father and Andy Trudeau used to get. He knows about the supernatural stuff and is good friends with Wyatt and Chris Halliwell, continuing the on going friendship between the families.

Born to a well-respected family within the magical community, Tristan had the kind of upbringing that most children would want. Always hardworking and determined, Tristan excelled in magic school and could have gone into any career he wanted when he finished school but he decided that he wanted to give something back to the community he had grown up in and decided to join the police force. It took a few years for him to be made detective but as soon as he had earned that title he was partnered with another new detective in the precinct, Darryl Morris Jr. Darryl Sr's days on the force were legendary and it was hoped that the two would work well together, which they quickly found out was the truth and they became fast friends. The two often end up getting the 'freaky' cases but luckily neither of them mind. Tristan is the love interest for Melinda Halliwell.

Over time she made a name for herself, a name feared by many. When she turned 18, Keaira killed her family and took to the underworld to help rid the world of good magic and gain more power for herself. When Leila was 14, her mother (Alanna) went up against the Charmed Ones and died at one of their hands. After this Keaira sought the young demon out and took her under her wing to teach her what she needed to know to survive. Leila now wants revenge on the Halliwell line and is willing to follow the Source into battle against them.

Nathaniel was born a Darklighter after his father sought out various different women hoping to impregnate them and give birth to the next generation of Darklighters. He grew up with his mortal mother before she was killed by his father when Nate was only ten years old. To begin with he hated his father, wanting to be nothing like the man but as he got older he started to realise that there was a lot he could learn from the man although he still made sure to escape his clutches as soon as he was old enough. It is Nate's job to seek out Whitelighters and potential future Whitelighters before they can earn their wings. Despite being young, Nate is a very talented Darklighter and has the qualities it takes to be a leader so others often look to him for help and guidance.

Like Nate, Lila was born a Darklighter but rather than becoming an assassin, her life took a very different turn. Always very persuasive when she was growing up, it came as no surprise when it was discovered that Lila was a very talented Spirit Killer. Following potential future Whitelighters around while remaining invisible, it is her job to whisper suggestions to them which ultimately lead to the person committing suicide. Whitelighters are also susceptible to this so Lila sometimes targets those too but potential Whitelighters are much easier targets as should the victim take their own life then they are automatically disqualified from being able to be reborn as a Whitelighter, thus leaving the good witches of the world vulnerable to attack. Despite being young, Lila is a very talented Darklighter and others often look to her for help and guidance.

Now she still has her French accent but it is slowly beginning to fade. Five years ago Clara's parents were killed helping another coven of witches and it was then that everything changed. Seeing the fact that the other coven had been unable to save her parents as a huge betrayal, Clara went out looking for revenge. She blamed the witches and let the dark thoughts consume her. She became evil before finally killing the family that had failed her parents, stealing their powers and becoming a Warlock in the process.
