Following Laurel's death at the hands of Damien Dhark, Sara Lance contacts old friends Dean and Sam Winchester to let them know of Laurel's death, not telling them that she has every intention of finding a way to bring Laurel back to life. Instead of returning to life with the Legends, Sara begins searching for ways to bring Laurel back, while Dean and Sam show up in Star City to pay their respects, though the eldest Winchester who is in love with Laurel has plans of his own
So when Flaspoint is created, Laurel Lance is suddenly alive again and Dean, Sam and Sara find themselves not only having to protect Laurel from Damien Dhark's attempts to take her life again but they also have to deal with the fact that Laurel suddenly has a powerful sonic scream that can incapacitate any threat to her and those she cares about. Amidst all of this, they also have to deal with Damien Dhark and the new allies who have joined him, allies that are enemies of the Winchester's
